How many of you here would say that baby names is a hobby of yours?

I would, I love names! I think the origins of names can be fascinating, and I like imagining what kind of names suit different people. Planning my future family is fun too, although my favourite names will probably have changed loads before then! I have lists of names all over the place.

How many of you here would say that baby names is a hobby of yours?
ME! whenever I am bored, i just pick out random baby names and unique baby names Iike, come up with middle names and put them on a list, and mess with my husband by telling him I want one kid for every name





*I think we are up to thirty eight right now.......





(by the way, i am in no way serious...I only want about 3 kids)
Reply:I love baby names. I would have to say names are a hobby of mine because after 8 kids I am definitely not having any more. I love to see what names other people are using and just generally what fads and trends are going on. I guess I just LOVE baby names.

Curiosity ? Oh yes. It's always intriguing to see people's choices.


Some go very quirky, others think the more 'z' in a name, the better!

Reply:For some reason, I adore name history and study. Different names from different languages can mean a lot of things. Fascinating study i think^_^
