Final choices for baby names?

we have narrowed it down to about 3 choices.


if the baby is a girl we are thinking Aaralyn.


if the baby is a boy we are thinking either Emery, Hollis, or Brandt.


i would also like to think of some nick names for the boys that might help us make our final choice. (for Emery we need something more then Em)

Reply:Aaralyn is Ok, but what about Ashlyn or Arabella?
Reply:I just have to share this, Aaralyn is terribly trendy, it's going to wash up in ten years and no longer be super cool. The double A makes it confusing and looks messy. I would consider Adalyn, Ailyn, Aislyn, personally I do not like Aaralyn at all and you should seriously consider revising it.

Brandt - Bran, Brah

Reply:Aaralyn comes from combining Aaron (strong, exalted) with Lynn.





It's unusual, but I can tell that you like that, as your boys' names are unique. It will be hard to spell, though pronouncing it shouldn't be a problem.





I'm not usually nuts about created names, but this one is different. I like it a lot!





Have you checked meanings for the boys' names? That might help you decide.





I don't think your boys' names lend to nns. If you name them these names, you'll have to come up with something completely unrelated (or his middle name) as a nn. Something like Peanut or Squirt or Guy or Tiger.





Of the three--they're all acceptable, the one that I like best is Brandt. Beautiful!!

Reply:Aaralyn is really kute!! What about something like, Ashton for a boy or something so that, if it is a girl, it'll have a A name, and if it's a boy, it'll have a A name, too.

Aaralyn: Lyn, Linnie(pronounced Lenny)


Emery: (nicknames dont have to be related to names! My name is Marissa and people call me sweetheart! So, do whatever you want with them!) Emerz(Pronounced Em-er-zzz :P), Emmie(I don't advise this one if you do choose this name because, he will be easily mistaken for a girl if you call him by that)


Hollis: Holl (like, Holly without the "ee")


Brandt: Brand
